Special Event Coverage Requests

Lancaster Volunteer Ambulance Corps (LVAC) is proud to support our community by providing emergency medical coverage for special events throughout Lancaster and the surrounding areas. Whether it’s a festival, sporting event, concert, or large public gathering, our crews are available to ensure professional medical care is on-site for participants and attendees.

If you’re planning an event and would like LVAC to provide EMS standby coverage, please review the information below and then complete the Special Event Request Form at the bottom of this page. Submitting a request does not guarantee coverage, as all requests are reviewed based on staffing availability, event type, and safety needs.

Information to Include

When completing the request form, please provide as much detail as possible to help us prepare for your event:

  • Event name, date, and location

  • Expected attendance and duration

  • Type of event and general description

  • Point of contact for the event

  • Any special requests, safety considerations, or logistical details (e.g., staging area, radio channel, vehicle access, etc.)

This information allows us to determine the appropriate level of coverage — whether that’s an ambulance, medical response vehicle, or staffed first aid station.

After Submitting

Once your request is submitted, our event coordinator will review the details and contact you within 5–7 business days to confirm coverage or request additional information.

Please note:

  • Event coverage is dependent on volunteer and staff availability.

  • LVAC reserves the right to prioritize emergency response readiness in the community.

  • Donations to support our volunteer services are greatly appreciated and help us continue providing coverage at community events.
