LVAC EMTs demonstrate hands-only CPR and correct AED use for Lancaster High School students on May 21, 2013. Approximately 250 students and staff received instruction on these potentially life-saving skills during the nine sessions.

LVAC was dispatched on the morning of May 22, 2013 for an individual at Lancaster High School experiencing a life-threatening situation. Our crews performed advanced life support procedures to stabilize the patient who was transported to a local specialty cardiac care center. The patient was turned over to emergency room staff for continuing care. We congratulate the crews for a great overall effort to help this individual.
This incident comes a day after LVAC personnel were at the high school teaching hands-only CPR and correct use of the automatic external defibrillator for approximately 250 students and staff.
